THE GOAL:

  • Bring local manufacturing to the forefront by showcasing the variety of local businesses that manufacture + inspire the businesses to connect with their public school future workforce. 

​

  • Teach educators how their local manufacturing companies function and to inspire them to promote career awareness in their classroom and school.

​

  • Inspire teens to think realistically about summer positions, future goals and working in manufacturing.

Students put on their problem solving hats to move a ball from one end of the table to the other with its own momentum using a variety of materials of their own choosing.

​

Just like the manufacturing Supply Chain model, a goal is determined, a product is made and each component along the way sets up a system of resources to move a product or service from supplier to customer.
